Royal Caribbean InternationalFreedom of the Seas

Royal Caribbean appeals to couples and singles in their 30s to 50s as well as family vacationers. The median age is low 40s, slightly lower on three and four night cruises and slightly higher on longer cruises of 10 or more nights. Guests are almost evenly divided between men and women and about 75 percent are North American.  Guests are typically active travelers seeking new experiences and a wide variety of choices for the whole family.

Royal Caribbean attracts travelers seeking a quality vacation at the best value, one that caters to an array of travel needs and preferences. About three-fourths of Royal Caribbean’s guests have cruised before and more than a quarter are repeat passengers.  Royal Caribbean enjoys one of the highest repeat passenger percentages in their market segment.

Royal Caribbean is an industry leader in innovative, unexpected onboard activities and amenities. Fleetwide rock-climbing walls, state-of-the-art fitness centers and spas, dedicated Internet connections in guest staterooms, and ice skating rinks are just a few of things you will discover onboard.

With the introduction of the Oasis of the Seas in December 2009, Royal Caribbean continues their pioneering ways.  The Oasis Class vessels weigh in at 220,000 gross tonnage, making them the largest cruise ships in the world.   With 28 ultra-modern loft suites and 2,700 spacious staterooms, these vessels are 16-deck marvel.  Various areas of the ship have been designated as "neighborhoods at sea". You will find the Central Park neighborhood with its trees and restaurants, or old-world charm with a modern twist in the entertaining Boardwalk neighborhood. The "Pool and Sports Zone" is an entire deck of pools, rock-climbing walls, basketball courts, and more. Entertainment options include an Aqua Theater, Ice Skating Shows, Comedy Club, and a full Broadway play “Hairspray”.

The brand is distinguished by its Gold Anchor Service, energizing onboard and shoreside adventures, the most amazing and innovative ships, and remarkable destinations all over the world. Whether it's a 3-night getaway, a longer 14-night vacation, or something in between, Royal Caribbean provides an amazing vacation experience. Royal Caribbean bills themselves as “The Nation of Why Not” and this mantra is taken to heart by every crew member, who’s goal is to make your vacation experience memorable and enjoyable.

From the teeniest cruisers to tried-and-true travelers there is something for everyone and every age.  Where Moms and Dads have the freedom to reconnect with their kids, experience togetherness with teens or relax on their own in the  Day Spa or cash in at the casino, while kids ages 6 months to 17 years have a blast with their peers in the award-winning Adventure Ocean® youth program.
