I’m one of those much read about baby boomers that worked first to feed the body and now is able to work to feed the soul.  In 2003, I retired after a 35 year career in Information Technology and began my second career as a travel consultant. I am now an independent contractor affiliated with Ships and Trips Travel here in Sacramento.  I’ve discovered that working to make clients travel dreams come true is much more satisfying than talking to a computer all day.  I’ve have found, however, that my IT experience and my many years as an IT project manager have assisted me greatly.

I believe that to serve my clients well, I need to know that which I speak about. So, during this time period, I have earned my Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC) certification from the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and my Caribbean Destination Specialist certification from the Travel Institute with additional certifications for Curacao, Cancun, the British Virgin Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Not to limit myself, I’ve also received certification as an Aussie Specialist from Tourism Australia with in depth training in the territory of Queensland as well as a Princess Cruise Lines specialist.

Over the last 25 years, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity of visiting over 55 countries around the world and have cruises the oceans of the world 26 times.  I use my travel and professional experience to ensure that every detail of my client’s travel dreams is addressed.
