Depart from the Walvis Bay Yacht Club and cruise into the beautiful and sheltered bay area, home to a shipwreck, lighthouse, oyster platforms, different bird species, seals and an abundance of marine life to mention a few.

The Catamaran will move along the oyster platforms where your guide will share more information about Walvis Bay’s own cultivated oysters, delicacies which you will later get to taste. The journey proceeds to the ever-growing Pelican Point for a closer look at the lighthouse and resident seal colony. The old supply railway spoors can still be seen from the years when the lighthouse was occupied by the coast guards.

Luanda is a charming costal city and the capital city of Angola. As a former Portuguese colony Luanda has many colonial buildings reminiscent of European architecture. The Canary Archipelago, or Fortunate Islands, as they are often called, owe their fame and fortune to their geographical location and climate. Of volcanic origin, the islands lie off the African coast and encompass such a variety of features that in the course of a day it is possible to pick bananas, throw snowballs, swim in the Atlantic and climb mountains. Tenerife is the largest of Canaries. The south features a desert with grotesque rock formations and chunks of cooled lava. Arrecife is not only the capital of Lanzarote or the main locality of Lanzarote's smallest municipality, but also of the chain of small islands which flanks it. What gives the area most character is the coastline with its small islets, most of which become covered during high tide. Places which must be visited are the Castle of San José, seat of the Contempory Art Museum which contains works by Piscasso, Miro, Mompó and César Menrique among many other painters and sculptors from all over the world. This fortress is situated in the east, on a small cliff, and houses different receational installations with a view of the port of Naos and of the Marbles. Another place of unusual interest is "Charco de San Gines" (San Ginés Pool) where water enters the land and where the hermitage was built, around which was formed the first nucleous of fishermen's cottages. This village has changed progressively, but still preserves its fishing village atmosphere. Visitors admire the old "calle real" (Royal Road) which leads to Avenida Marítima, the location of the municipal park.

Today, we arrive in southern Morocco in the vast bay of Agadir. Falmouth is a resort and port in south-western England. The harbor is popular with pleasure craft and Falmouth has several boat-building yards and a major ship repair yard. They were built by Henry VIII in the 16th century to guard the entrance to the Roads; the protection they offered played an important part in Falmouth's development as a port. Londonderry (Derry) is a city of contrasts, culture, and heartwarming hospitality. Protective walls erected in 1614 present a good image of what the town’s fortification looked like more than 350 years ago and offer a splendid view over the roofs and buildings. The city’s architectural legacy retains many elegant reminders of fortunes gleaned from trade. Discover the grandeur of Georgian terraces and the ornate facade of the building that once housed the shirt and collar industry. The city offers history and heritage. Major attractions are the 17th-century cathedral and the neo-Gothic guildhall. The town square has been known since the 17th century as the Diamond and lies at the junction of the four principal streets, still following the medieval plan. Derry provides a convenient base for exploring Donegal County, one of the country’s most scenic areas in glorious wilderness. Located outside Londonderry, Dunluce castle is famous as the former residence of the great O’Neills clan. The Grianan of Aileach - which dates back to 1700 B.C., was originally a temple of the sun.

The name Stornoway comes from the Norse for "Steering Bay", an indication of the early origins of the town. As the best natural harbor in the Western Isles it was a focus for development, and Stornoway Castle was built as early as 1100 by the MacNicol family. Today's Stornoway is a busy, attractive town and the largest settlement in the Western Isles. The shape of the town is defined by the harbour, which partially surrounds it. Visit an interesting range of shops pleasantly different from the usual outlets colonising most UK High Streets. Visitors to Stornoway should be aware that Sunday observance is strong here. Most transport links to Lewis and Harris, and within them, do not operate on a Sunday. Most shops, petrol stations, cafes, pubs, visitor attractions are closed on Sundays, as are at least some public toilets.

The Orkney Islands are different from mainland Britain and reflect the original 9th century Viking settlement. In addition to Norse heritage are remains of prehistoric monuments such as Stenness Standing Stones at Finstown. Steep-roofed stone houses line streets winding around medieval St. Magnus Cathedral. A museum featuring Orkney artifacts is housed in 16th-century Tankerness House. Other attractions include Maes Howe, Britain's best-preserved megalithic tomb, and the stone-age village Skara Brae. Rock circles, cairns, standing stones, ancient tombs and prehistoric villages are scattered about, gaining these islands international recognition. Only the walls and tower of the 12-century residence, Bishop's Palace, stand. The top of the tower affords a great view of the cathedral and across Kirkwall rooftops. Earl's Palace dates from 1600. Its style blends medieval fierceness with elements of French Renaissance architecture - featuring dungeons, massive fireplaces and magnificent central hall. A good mile south of town is Highland Park - the "most northerly legal distillery in Scotland."

Norway's royal residence since 997 AD, when King Olaf I founded Trondheim, the city still boasts Stiftsgarden, the huge wooden palace. A century later, St. Olaf II began to perform miracles for the people, making Trondheim a major pilgrimage destination. Be sure to visit Nidaros Cathedral, where the Norwegian kings are still crowned, which is certainly one of Europe's premier Gothic-style churches.

This is a tour around Trondheim centre and its outskirts. You'll pass by the main highligts of the city, the old town bridge, the Norwegian University of Science and Technologi (NTNU) at the Kristiansten Fort, the Royal Residence and many more. 

The tour continues with a visit to Nidaros Cathedral, the world’s northernmost Gothic cathedral. Built from 1070 over the tomb of St. Olav, the Viking king who brought Christianity to Norway, the cathedral was completed around 1300. In the summer months, you can climb the 172 steps to the top of the tower and be rewarded with an unrivaled view of the city.

You will also visit Trøndelag Open-Air Folk Museum, also known as “Sverresborg”. This is an open air museum with more than 80 historical buildings and several indoor exhibitions. The museum’s old town is comprised of buildings that were originally located in downtown Trondheim, and offers a charming representation of the wooden houses that have dominated the cityscape from the 18th century up until today. The museum’s rural department is located around the ruins of the castle, and consists of farmsteads and houses surrounded by picturesque nature. The houses are all originally from the Trøndelag region. In the rural department you will also find our Sami collection, the Haltdalen stave church, the Lo church and the old school.

Andalsnes is a popular tourist resort surrounded by mountains. Andalsnes is the ending point for a ride on the Trollstigvein (troll's path), a zig-zag drive up mountains and over waterfalls that's out of this world! In World War II, the town was heavily damaged when the Germans pushed back (1940) an Allied landing.

The region is famous for its beautiful scenery with high mountains and blue fjords, of which the Geiranger fjord is one of the most attractive tourist places in Norway. The climate is less severe than might be expected from its geographical location, with mild winters and cool summers. Ålesund, with its unique architecture, is the center of business and industry in Møre and Romsdal. As the sea, the woods and the mountains are easy accessible, the possibilities for outdoor and sports activities are excellent, both in the summer and winter season.

Ålesund differs from most other Norwegian cities with its large concentration of buildings in the Jugend style of architecture. The explanation for this is simple; the town burned to the ground during the Great Fire of 1904. Rebuilding the city took a full three years, aided by numerous local contributions and large donations from the German Kaiser Wilhelm II.
The city planners agreed on consistently using the contemporary style of architecture, Jugend style (also known as Art Nouveau). It is a style characterized by artistic playfulness, fetching inspiration from organic forms and shapes in nature.
This combination of fjords, mountains and a town centre built in so-called art nouveau-style are some of the factors that resulted in Ålesund pinching first place in a survey by the Norwegian daily newspaper Dagbladet. Larger cities like Bergen (second place) and Trondheim (fourth place) – perhaps more famous for their beauty – were not considered to be as scenic as Ålesund when the Norwegians themselves cast their votes.

At the head of three valleys amid the peaceful surroundings of the Inner Nordfjord, Olden is the key to a not-to-be-missed journey up to the frozen cascade of the million years old and ever-advancing Briksdal Glacier, best-known of the gigantic, Jostedal's many icy arms. An Iron Age burial mound was discovered in this region of Western Norway, but in more recent history, most of the town was settled in the seventeenth century. In Olden, an historic church was built in 1746 and survived the Second World War.

The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway's best-known attractions. Fløibanen can be found in the heart of Bergen. Fløibanen is a funicular cable car that takes you 320 metres above sea level. In just a few minutes you find yourself on top of a mountain with a perfect view of the city and its surroundings. You have not seen Bergen before you have taken Fløibanen.

The funicular railway is one of Norway's most famous attractions. The trip starts in the heart of the city and takes you 320 meters above sea level. In just 6 minutes, you will find yourself on top of Mount Fløyen. After enjoying a panoramic view of Bergen we will start our hike!

Bergen Art & Design Walking Tour visiting KODE Art Museum and Arven silver factory – 4 hours — Optional Private Excursions
You start this walking tour with our guide, visiting two of the main attractions in Bergen for art and design lovers.
 
We will pay a visit to KODE 3 Museum, which The Rasmus Meyers Collection and a great compilation of works by Edvard Munch, one of the most renowned Norwegian painters.
Among the highlights of the collection are paintings from the Golden Age of Norwegian art, as well as historical interiors from the Bergen area. The presentation includes highlights from the careers of other famous Norwegian artists such as J.C. Dahl, Harriet Backer, Erik Werenskiold and Gerhard Munthe.
 
We continue our tour by visiting Arven´s workshops. In 1868 Theodor Olsen brought international expertise when he established his own sterling silversmithery and store and quickly became a leader in Bergen’s arts and crafts community. Following his death in 1890, the silver smithery and store continued under the name of Theodore Olsen managed by the Aase family for many generations until 2016 when it became Arven AS. Today, Arven is a modern and innovative factory which is constantly developing new and exciting products through bold design work in cooperation with contemporary designers but preserving traditional techniques and classic design.
During your private visit you will be greeted by your host offering you a special welcome with a drink and a taste of delicious Norwegian local produce cheese and snacks, all served using their beautiful cheese slices and knives we create.
Your visit continues with a presentation about the story of silversmithing in Bergen, about Arven, our history, our products, and our way of working. Afterwards there will time for your questions and participation to “show and tell” how each visitor can make their own stamped pendant!
You are then guided to our workshop and witness where our silver cutlery and jewelries are crafted. There will be a little “ceremony” in the workshop where each visitor gets their own Arven medal.

Founded in the 8th century and one of Norway's oldest towns, Stavanger is situated along the Byfjord, an arm of the Stavangerfjord. A bishop ruled the city from the twelfth through seventeenth centuries. At the end of the eighteenth century, Stavanger had developed a successful merchant shipping fleet and during the next century developed herring fishing and canning industries. Appealing echoes of that proud heritage live on amid the evocative cobbled streets of Gamle (Old) Stavanger, whose whitewashed 18th century houses are probably northern Europe's best-preserved community of wooden houses. Drive through the center of Oslo, passing all of the main sights and highlights, including the Royal Palace and the Nobel Institute. View the City Hall, inaugurated in 1950 at Oslo's 900-year jubilee. Akershus Fortress, sitting boldly on the waterfront is today partly a museum and a military area.
 
Pass the Parliament Building before entering Karl Johan Street, named after the Swedish-Norwegian king in the early part of the 19th century. The oldest part of Oslo University, dating back to 1813, lines this street. It is famous for its interior decoration by the painter Edvard Munch.
 
You will also pass through attractive villa areas on the way to Vigeland Park. This enormous open-space was laid out in the first half of the 20th century by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland. Over a period of 30 years, he created his own world of human beings and animals from stone, iron and bronze. There are about 200 statue groups in all, which describe the course of human life from birth to death. The monolith, a 56-foot high granite block carved with 121 figures stands as the unequivocal centerpiece of this well-planned park.
 
On the Bygdøy Peninsula you will visit the Viking Ship Museum. It houses three authentic longboats dating from the Viking Age, around AD 900-1000, which were excavated from the mudbanks along Oslo fjord. The museum also holds a large collection of items found on board the ships, such as household goods, tools, jewelry and clothing.

The Opera House, which took five years to complete, sits on the bank of the Bjørvika district, near the stock exchange and the central station. 

A visit to Oslo is not complete without a brief wal through Vigeland´s Sculpture Park .The sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland's life work, comprising over 200 sculptures in granite, bronze and wrought iron. It was installed mainly in the period 1940-1949, but is nevertheless a result of over 40 years of work. It is located in a beuatiful park and natural setting in the city.

Edvard Munch was one of Modernism's most significant artists and the other great Norgwian artist. The New Edvard Munch Museum will open at the end of 2020.

North Zealand Tour – 7 Hours — Optional Private Excursions
Set off on an enjoyable narrated tour to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. This elegant Dutch Renaissance structure straddles three small islands and has all the trappings of a fairytale castle, but it was gainfully employed as royal residence and setting for important ceremonial events from the 1600s to the 1850s. It now serves as the National Museum of History and is best known for its outstanding collection of portraits, the largest of its kind in Denmark. Copenhagen Walking tour in the pursuit of Hygge – 4 Hours — Optional Private Excursions

Hygge is as Danish as pork roast and it goes far in illuminating the Danish soul. In essence hygge means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life in the company of good people. The warm glow of candlelight is also hygge. Friends and family – well that’s hygge too. 

In the summertime, hygge is spending time in the sun, over a beer at the pier, a picnic in one of the city parks or just hanging out with good friends in one of Copenhagen’s many picturesque and historical back yards.

The Latin Quarter is one of the most entertaining areas of Denmark's capital city, with a young-spirited undertone around the vicinity of Copenhagen University. The Latin Quarter is well known for its hang-out spots, alternative shopping and 17th-century architecture.

We continue our tour by visiting the church of our Lady. The Copenhagen Cathedral in its present shape is an unpretentious building in Neo-Classicist style designed by the architect C.F. Hansen. It is situated close to the University of Copenhagen. An inside visit to the Round Tower in included. It was built as part of the Trinity Complex, named after the Holy Trinity and designed to accommodate three things: the observatory at the top of the tower, the library on the floor above the Trinity Church and of course the church itself. From its vantage point you will be able to peak into some of Copenhagen’s old, historical and cozy court yards before we head over to the Kings Garden, a popular green spot in the city center.

Copenhagen Jewish tour – 4 Hours — Optional Private Excursions

Although never large in numbers, the Jews in Denmark have nevertheless had a substantial and important influence on Danish culture and history. The sights on your tour includes The Round Tower with its golden Hebrew inscriptions; the statue of the world famous Danish Jewish Nobel Prize winner, Niels Bohr; and the Trinitatis church where the Torah scrolls from the Copenhagen Synagogue were hidden during the Second World War and were thus saved from destruction.
You will be informed of the present-day Jewish community, its size and the various components that went into its making. The story of the five dark years under Nazi occupation, the deeds of the Danes and their king, Christian X will not be forgotten.
The Danish Jewish Museum, designed by world famous architect Daniel Libeskind, opened in 2004 and is a must-see for anyone interested in the Jews of Denmark. Located in the center of Copenhagen, the museum is a great starting point for exploring Jewish history in Denmark. The museum presents 400 years of Danish Jewish history, including the rescue and deportation of the Danish Jews in 1943. Christianshavn is a much-desired area for Copenhageners to live in. And it is easy to see why. It is central, full of bars and restaurants and has a unique maritime atmosphere.
Dragør was founded in the 12th century, and it grew quickly as a fishing port. During the medieval period it was an international marketplace for Hanseatic merchants who came each year to buy herring. In the early sixteenth century, King Christian II invited a group of farmers from the Netherlands - at the time, a more agriculturally advanced nation than Denmark - to settle here to produce food for the royal household. You still find many Dutch names on the doors in Dragør. The town center is very idyllic with its characteristic yellow painted houses, thatched straw roofs and cobblestone streets, plus a charming harbor that is still an active fishing port.
Christiansborg Palace is located on the tiny island of Slotsholmen and houses Denmark's Parliament. It is the Prime Minister's residence and where the Queen of Denmark receives visiting royalty and heads of state in its royal reception rooms. In the Marble Hall, see the incredible, colorful tapestries displaying Danish and world history over the past 1,000 year.

Discover Copenhagen from a different angle and in a sustainable way!
We start our day with a rickshaw transfer. A rickshaw is a 3 wheels bike that allows you to move around in a “green way”. Your rickshaw driver will take you to Knippelsbro, where you will be instructed on how to safely kayaking around Copenhagen.
Together with the instructor, you will be drifting by some of the most iconic buildings in town such as the National Bank, the Black Diamond, the Opera House and the colorful Nyhavn. We will enter the canals of historical Christianshavn and head towards Christiansborg, now home of the Danish parliament, through Frederiksholms canal, paddling under beautiful bridges and finding the secret underwater sculpture, Agnete og Havmanden. This is a fun and exciting way to explore Copenhagen.
After kayaking you will enjoy a lunch at the Kayak Bar and then you will take your rickshaw transfer back to your hotel/address in the city center.

We start our day heading towards Karen Blixen's Museum, located in Rungsted, only 30 mins by car from Copenhagen. Karen Blixen is one of Denmark's most famous authors. Among her best-known literary works are the novel Out of Africa, describing life in Kenya, where she ran a coffee plantation in the outskirts of Nairobi from 1914 to 1931. Out of Africa and the short story Babette's Feast, turned into Oscar-winning films.
The museum occupies the rooms where Karen Blixen lived, and it also houses a gallery featuring Karen Blixen's drawings and paintings, a documentary exhibit on her life and work, a library, a film screening room, a café, a museum shop, and an auditorium used for lectures and special exhibitions.
 
After enjoying a traditional Danish lunch in a local restaurant, we continue our tour by visiting Louisiana Art Museum, in Humlebaek.
 
Louisiana is the most visited art museum in Denmark and has an extensive collection of modern and contemporary art, dating from World War II to the present day. In addition, it has a comprehensive program of special exhibitions all year around, achieving its  status as one of the world's most respected exhibition venues  The museum is also acknowledged as a milestone in modern Danish architecture, and is noted for its synthesis of art, architecture, and landscape. A walk in the Sculpture Park is an essential part of the Louisiana experience, offers a special interplay with stunning view over the Øresund and across Sweden ,and where nature, weather and the change of seasons, make the sculptures look very different from time to time

Copenhagen Family day tour at Camp Adventure – 6 hours — Optional Private Excursions
Copenhagen is not only about Nordic food, Scandinavian design, and the Danish royals. It is also about fun and adventure!
A great alternative for a full day of excitement is Camp Adventure, a climbing park located in Rønnede, only 1 hour away from the capital. Camp Adventure offers 10 climbing courses to move in and out across a beech forest and is home of the very famous Forest Tower.
Once you get to the park, you are provided with safety equipment and will be taught by professional instructors in the use of the equipment and harnesses. Do not worry, the equipment is the best in the market, and it is safe and easy to use! There is no need to have previous experience.
You will also be able to visit the 45-meter-tall Forest Tower, built with corten steel and local oak. The tower offers to enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view over the beautiful southern Zealand nature. The trip through the beech forest, up into the Forest Tower and back is 3,2 km long.

Copenhagen -Historical Spa and visit to the Cistern– 5 hours — Optional Private Excursions

You continue the excursion at the Cisternerne, an old water reservoir built in 1856-1859. The cisterns are located on Frederiksberg Hill, 31 meters above sea level, the highest point of the very flat Danish capital. The natural pressure, when the water was let out, allowed the water to travel all the way up into the new Copenhagen town houses contributing considerably to the improvement of the water supplied to locals.
 
In 1933 the cisterns stopped functioning as a water reservoir and for many decades these subterranean chambers were forgotten until 2013 when the building became a part of The Frederiksberg Museums.  Today, the old subterranean water reservoir of Soendermarken is home of events and art exhibitions that awaken all senses. The huge dripstone cave is sparsely lit, the climate is moist and cool, and a magical art experience is guaranteed.

Copenhagen Meet the Big Friendly Giants – 6 Hours — Optional Private Excursions

All six sculptures are made from scrap wood with the help of local volunteers and is the first chapter of Thomas Dambo’s ongoing story: “The great story of the little people and the giant trolls”.
