There are no tests or vaccination requirements to enter Mexico. Five hours wearing a mask to Cancun on our non-stop flight on JetBlue. Each person in the family had to fill out the immigration form. Unfortunately, the cabin crew did not pass out the forms until the flight became more than a little bumpy, I doubt the Mexican immigration could read many forms. It took about an hour to pass through customs and immigration and run the gauntlet of timeshare salespeople.

As Europe opens up river cruises are offering deals! This is my favorite way to travel. You unpack once and you cruise through the country. Getting off the ship is as simple as walking down the plank and you are in the town. Many river cruise companies also have bicycles onboard as well.

Life onboard is a gourmet breakfast in the morning with local cuisine. Then you are off to a shore excursion that is likely included. There are some optional excursions as well. Then you return for lunch which you can have on the open deck, wine and beer included of course while you cruise to the next town. The afternoon may be sightseeing in another small town and then you are back on the ship for Happy Hour! 

Dinner onboard is a casually elegant affair. The dress is a country club casual with wine and beer included with every meal.
