After interesting town sightseeing, you will proceed to Perast – a small fishermen’s village and a home to a tiny islet facing its shores, called Our Lady of the Rocks.
Perast was known to be a significant fishermen’s village through out the past, so it comes as no surprise that the legend of a small islet Our Lady of the Rocks is also connected with the fishermen’s legacy. The legend goes that local fishermen layed stones upon a rock where shipwrecked crewmen first saw the Saint. Stone after stone, a church was made.
